The Trip of a Lifetime
Are you interested in going to Israel in 2026? An unforgettable journey to Israel is happening October 4th-14th, 2026, and an upcoming Zoom meeting will walk through the details, itinerary, and answer your questions about the trip.
Zoom Meeting Time
This meeting will happen January 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM ET (10:00 AM CT / 8:00 AM PT)
Details
This Zoom meeting will give you a clear picture of the experience — the heart behind the trip, how it’s structured, and why it’s so life-changing for people. You’ll hear what to expect day to day and have space to ask real questions. If Israel has ever been on your heart, this is the best place to begin.
Going to Israel will change how you read the Bible. Familiar passages gain depth. Places you’ve read about your whole life suddenly make sense. Geography, history, and story come together in a way that stays with you. Many people say they learned more in ten days than they had in years of study, not just because of information, but because they were standing where these events actually happened, and can retrace the steps of the world's most familiar stories.
To attend the Zoom meeting, please register using the link below. After registering, you’ll receive the Zoom link and a calendar reminder.
Registration for the trip will open shortly after the meeting, but this Zoom is the best first step in discerning whether this journey is right for you.
We hope you’ll join us.
About David Whiting
Get to know your tour guide, David Whiting.
David is passionate about seeing churches make more and better disciples in their unique contexts. He enjoys walking with leaders through the challenges, joys, and learnings of churches and pastors while they pursue the Great Commission while cultivating personal, staff, and church health.
His journey as a lead pastor began at Northridge Church, where he was part of a remarkable church revitalization as the church grew from 250 to nearly 2000 attendees over 15 years. Following this chapter, he transitioned to Houston, TX, collaborating with pastors and churches as a consultant, reveling in the opportunity to stand alongside pastors as they navigated their distinct challenges. In 2018, David returned to a lead pastoral role at New Heights Church—a multi-site congregation that grew to over 3600 in weekly in person attendance.
Today, David leverages his expertise to coach and consult with pastors and church leaders, bringing a fresh perspective with encouraging ideas in desired areas of need. Through his successes, failures, and learnings, he walks alongside pastors and church leaders helping them navigate their unique opportunities and challenges.
With over 150 consulting engagements—David desires to be an encouraging collaborator as he assists leaders in assessing their current realities, identifying measurable next steps, and pursuing their envisioned futures, both personally and within their church.
David has lead dozens of trips to Israel in his lifetime, and one of his greatest passions is seeing the Gospel come to life in the Holy Land.
David has been married to his wonderful wife, Sue, for over three decades. Together, they find great joy in living nearby their three adult children, two sons-in-law, two grandchildren, and a spoiled goldendoodle—possibly Sue's favorite "child" of all.
