796 Adults Make a Decision to Follow Christ

I received an email from Richard Heyduck a few days ago asking about an important statistic from 2007. He noted that I reported last year about 942 adults who gave their life to Christ in 2006. He wondered about our numbers for 2007.

I just reviewed the numbers for last year. We saw 796 adults make a public decision to follow Christ through our weekend services and membership classes during 2007.

There were many others who made decisions through small groups, recovery groups, youth gatherings and children's ministry--but I don't have those numbers.

I love being able to to measure whether our strategy is accomplishing our mission. I know it is for 1,738 people who are making a difference here on earth because they met Jesus within the past two years.
