Proud

This morning I snuck down to Nashville to hear Kem Meyer deliver a compelling keynote presentation at the MinistryCom church communications and marketing conference. I was so proud of Kem as I sat in the crowd taking notes with several hundred church leaders. Knowing that 15 years ago she was still a part of our unchurched community, 5 years ago she joined our staff team, and today she is a recognized leader in the church communications world...it's amazing! I'm so glad to be serving on the same team as Kem.

On my way from the airport to the conference, I was able to catch lunch with David Foster, pastor of The Gathering in Nashville. I've been keeping up with Dave for the past six or eight years--so it was good to connect with him again and hear the great things that he and Paula are involved in to further the kingdom.
