My First Fireworks

Until last night, I was a fireworks virgin. Well, I had purchased sparklers a few times at Wal-Mart, but besides that I had never spent a penny on fireworks nor been involved in lighting any.

Then my friends taunted me, and one of them actually took me to the fireworks tent sale. (Side note: I discovered a whole sub-culture of people I didn't even know existed. I wondered aloud, perhaps too loudly, where "normal" people buy fireworks. No one answered).
