Great Advice on Hiring Staff

Okay, I'll admit it. I love it when people agree with me.

This time it is Dave Ferguson who has a great post on hiring staff. You should read his post here, but in summary Dave says...

• We don't have very many policies. [Amen to that.]
• Theological education is not a big factor in who we hire. [Just my opinion, but seminary seems to mess up more people than it helps.]
• We hire most our people from within our congregation [Same at Granger. Only 3 of our 93 staff members were hired from outside of the church.]
