Silver Lining

One of the best things about Tony fleeing the cold north was that now I get to work directly with Kem Meyer. I've known her for 12 years, worked with her on projects for 5 years, but now get to have daily interaction and really "do" life together. I love her leadership, her vision, and her sense of humor.

She's also very wise, kind of like E.F. Hutton. He was the guy that didn't say much, but when he did, everyone listened. Well, she doesn't write every day on her blog, but when she does--it's really good.

Like today for example. She wrote...

"I'm intentional about not debating puffed up piety. And, I'm intentional about trying to listen and learn from others. I'm working on emulating the attributes of Jesus, not the attributes of religion. I want to seek answers, not act like I have all the answers. I don't want to be churchy. I want to be authentic, compassionate and live with integrity."

That's good stuff. You'll want to check out her blog and add it to your favorites. You'll be glad you did.
