Talking about Real Issues

Tonight we launched a series called Reel Dating. This is a little bit of a risk for us in that we've never presented an entire series on the topic of dating. But last spring we learned from an all-church survey that 38% of our adults are single. So we think this will be a series that will help hundreds of people.

We're also taking a week to talk to those who are married about dating their mate. And another week focuses on helping parents get their kids ready for dating.

I love that I attend a church that talks about the real issues of real people. For too long far too many churches have spent their time talking about stuff that doesn't help. It might be interesting, it might be educational, it might leave us impressed with the knowledge of the messenger. But it doesn't help.
