The Buzz is Coming

On Thursday morning at the ICC I'll be talking about the Buzz Flywheel Effect and how we've seen it in play at Granger. The four components of the Buzz Flywheel are Beliefs-Language-Impact-Buzz. One leads to the next. You have to have the first three in play in sequence if you are going to have anything that is buzzworthy.

Mark Hughes, author of Buzzmarketing, lists six things that he says are sure to generate Buzz:

  • The Unusual
  • The Outrageous
  • The Taboo
  • The Hilarious
  • The Remarkable
  • The Secretive

Anyone can generate buzz. I'm more interested in sustaining buzz and seeing it lead to life change. That's what we'll be talking about on Thursday morning.
