About Me

  • Although my official title is executive pastor at Granger Community Church--my role is all about finding high capacity people with great hearts and getting them the resources they need so together we can help people meet Jesus. I really believe I lead the greatest staff on the planet, and my joy is in helping them hit the ball out of the park. In my spare time, I get the privilege of writing books and teaching workshops to help leaders of other churches learn from our mistakes and successes.

    Mark Beeson on Obama

This past weekend, Mark Beeson took some time in the service to address the historic presidential election that we just went through. Many people have responded with MUCH ENERGY over his comments.

It is my guess that our church reflects our society as a whole in its' voting patterns. That is, probably half voted for Obama and half voted for McCain. I applaud Mark for his leadership through this very difficult subject. He could have ignored it and let the pundits lead the conversation. But he didn't, he led the conversation. I include his comments here in their entirety...

    What are your thoughts?
