About Me

  • Although my official title is executive pastor at Granger Community Church--my role is all about finding high capacity people with great hearts and getting them the resources they need so together we can help people meet Jesus. I really believe I lead the greatest staff on the planet, and my joy is in helping them hit the ball out of the park. In my spare time, I get the privilege of writing books and teaching workshops to help leaders of other churches learn from our mistakes and successes.

    Surviving My First Earthquake

    Dsc01208

You can`t tell from this picture, but we experienced an earthquake today. A few minutes after the building started moving, we turned on CNN and saw that a 5.8 earthquake hit somewhere in central Mexico. Pretty exciting!

Besides that, we are enjoying a laid back life including laying in the sun, laying in the shade, and then laying in the sun again.

re: "laying in the sun, laying in the shade, and then laying in the sun again." Hey, I hate to be the grammar police here, but I expect you meant "lying," not "laying." The former is much more passive than the latter :-)

So...when you're in Indiana, the ground shakes. Then, you set foot "south of the border" and the ground shakes yet again...Let's see if D.C has any seismic issues when you show up for Whiteboard.
