About Me

  • Although my official title is executive pastor at Granger Community Church--my role is all about finding high capacity people with great hearts and getting them the resources they need so together we can help people meet Jesus. I really believe I lead the greatest staff on the planet, and my joy is in helping them hit the ball out of the park. In my spare time, I get the privilege of writing books and teaching workshops to help leaders of other churches learn from our mistakes and successes.

    Billboards Are Up

A couple weeks ago I told you here about The Office series we are launching at Granger. It begins in 10 days, and the billboards just went up today. Here are examples of three of the billboards (there are a total of 8 unique designs) that we are using to create interest, stimulate conversation, and drive people to a website that will invite them to the series.

    AWESOME!!!

These are great. I'd like to see the other designs.

Tim, I don't know how you'd measure a return on these efforts, but do you guys have an idea of which strategies usually bring more people into your services? Billboards, postcards, personal invite cards?

And how do you determine on the front end how much you budget for these strategies?

I think that it's a great way to help begin the conversation. Having a website that aligns with series is always a great tool. It will be interesting to see the depths of people sharing their "Office Secrets."

SWEETNESS...enough said! OK so i'm biased, is that a BAD thing?

    Tim,

Didn't think you guys could top the "Pure Sex" billboards from last year, but it looks like you did!!

Thanks for piercing the community with relevance, truth, and the message of Jesus!
