My favorite category in their sort is "These people ignore you." Snort! That's encouraging. Ha! Wonder how you found me. (Feel free not to know the answer to that question.) However, Twitter considers this "aggressive following." This is contrary to their terms of service. The only auto-following they permit is auto-following those who follow you. Anything else, they consider spam. The way I found out about this is that my name suddenly dropped out of Twitter search. A developer friend of mine inquired, because he had a contact at Twitter. They wrote to me and explained their philosophy. They only agreed to put me back in Twitter search on the condition that I stopped the practice of aggressive following.
