Never Stop Learning
Last night I was talking to Mark Beeson and we were sharing stories about the weekend. He had just returned from spending some time with Amber, his oldest daughter, and had the opportunity to visit her church. Maybe you read his post about it.
He was telling me about his visit to Ada Bible Church and the great messaged delivered by Jeff Manion.
Something he said stood out to me: "I learned several things Sunday, and a couple of them are really going to help me in my preaching."
I think anyone who knows Mark casually would file this under the category of yougottabekiddingme! He is a world-class communicator, has been preaching for nearly four decades, and has continually refined his skill with the detail of an artist.
And yet his comment wasn't surprising to me. Why? Because Mark is a life-long learner. He may be in his mid-50's when many leaders would coast on everything they learned in their 20's and 30's and 40's. But not Mark. He continues to be a challenge to me because he has purposed to never stop learning. And that, my friends, makes a leader attractive at any age.

We all can learn from Mark, on how to keep on learning.
Blessings!

…and that is one of the many reasons that I love attending GCC – the pastors never stop learning and growing, which only aids in the growth of the church.

Dear Brother in Christ
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Hope you are safe by Gods grace. The children who are growing wonder your love are conveying their greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ. This month we are going to celebrate the Christmas. Our hearts are over joyous when we here the word Christmas. Lord Jesus came on to this earth to heal the sick, to save sinners to bring people to God as a child. We feel it as blessing to remember the day of Christmas.
Every year we celebrate Christmas among the children, staff and widows very effectively. On this occasion, we provide new garments for the children, widows and the staff. Like wise, we also conduct games, sports and bible quiz and encourage them by attracting gifts. We preach them the birth of Jesus, love of Jesus with beautiful music and Praise our God. Also, Christmas we provide them a good meal chicken, cakes and etc., chocolates for children, sweet, hot material and all.
Therefore, this year we are planning to do the same and all the children are getting ready. To do all those things we need so much of financial support. So, if God revives your heart, you please share your love on us through your gifts.
Please pray of us, so that every person would know about our God and his son Jesus Christ. I want to convey our greetings to you whole heartedly. Please pray for us too.
Yours Brother in Christ
Rev. N. Timothy.
